Ironwood Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1961. The course was designed by Jim Furbush.
Ironwood Golf Course is fairly open, but there are a couple very interesting interior out-of-bounds areas which come into play on two holes. A pond comes into play on one hole. There are only 2 or 3 traps on the course and virtually no rough. The 7th & 8th holes are the highlight of the course. With sub-300 yard par fours, Ironwood is a short and fairly easy course, the hardest hole probably being 9, an approximately 200 yard par 3 with the green sitting fairly high above the tees.
White tees: par-35, 2,770 yards
Red tees: par-38, 2,405 yards

Nice little 9 hole course. Not a lot of trouble. A few bunkers with soft sand, maybe 4 or5 on the hole course.
